It also displays different foot wear around the world, information about the history of Marikina’s shoe making industry and shoe making process.
As you visit the mini museum, you’ll get to know more about the legendary political and cultural icon, former Imelda Marcos (her shoe taste and style) as she owned most of the shoes housed in this well-kept museum. You’ll surely be in awe and wonder like other people as you see her 765 pairs collection of shoes which are all beautiful, elegant and very extravagant as most of them were from famous shoe designers around the globe. Bruno Magli, Charles Jourdan Paris, Beltrami,Mauro Rustans, Rene Caovilla, Raphae Salato, Oleg Casini, Lady Rustan, Evane Picone , Christian Dior, Chanel,Galo and Andre Carano are some of the brands of Imelda’s shoes displayed in this Footwear Museum.
The Marikina Shoe Museum is mini in size but has a lot to offer and worth visiting.
