The “Tagaytay Ride Tour” is an excellent tour that offers beautiful countryside scenery as we travel 2.5 hours south of Manila to “Tagaytay Ridge” which is located 2,250 feet above sea level and offers plenty of fresh air, wonderful panoramic views of the “Taal Volcano” and “Taal Lake”, weather permitting.
Bamboo Organ – St. Joseph Church Las Piñas City:
Our Manila tour begins at the “St. Joseph Church” in “Las Pinas City” where we will see the only “Bamboo Organ” in the world. This is the first and only pipe organ in the world created from Bamboo, which was taken from the Philippines.
The Bamboo Pipe Organ is still operational today, being used by the church daily, and is a spectacular site to see, first created and later restored between the years of 1816 and 1975.
Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Stands:
As we drive from Manila to Tagaytay you with have the chance to stop by and purchase fresh fruits, vegetables and Filipino handmade crafts located along the highway. You will be pleased with the freshness and the quality of the produce, all of which are grown by local farmers.
There is no need to worry about paying too much; your tour guide will assist you in haggling down to the best price.
Palace in the Sky:
Our next stop will be the “Palace in the Sky” a beautiful mountain retreat built by the former President of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos. The Palace in the Sky was built on a Cliffside overlooking “Tagaytay City” the “Taal Volcano” and Pineapple and Coffee Bean Plantations.
Here you can rest, have your lunch; enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding area including “The Peoples Park”.
